Public Open House – Thursday, September 6th
The purpose of the open house meeting was to provide an overview of the project and to receive input from residents, businesses and communities that will assist in the Tri-County Access Study Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process which formally began on July 16, 2018 with the Federal Highway Administration’s publication of the Notice of Intent in the Federal Register. Information was available on the TCA Study limits, schedule, draft Purpose & Need, potential alternatives, and issues to be addressed as part of the TCA Study. Staff were available to answer questions.

The Tri-County Access Study hosted a Public Open House where attendees were invited to learn more, join the discussion, and provide suggestions on how to best meet our transportation challenges.

Get Involved
There are lots of ways to get involved in Tri-County Access Study.
Small Group Meetings
Small group meetings will engage stakeholders, share information and foster discussion by addressing specific project issues, allowing for more specialized discussions and input, and aiding the public in developing a better understanding the TCA Study goals and objectives. Small group meetings will be held throughout the Study as they are identified.
Public Meeting/Hearings
Public involvement for the Tri-County Access Study will include opportunities for broader public meetings in the form of a public information meeting and a public hearing. These large-scale meetings will encourage public attendance and foster public awareness of the Study developments and alternatives that are being evaluated. These meetings also will provide a forum for public input, including concerns and comments regarding TCA Study alternatives.

There will be several other methods for the public to obtain and provide information about the Study. These methods (noted below) will provide information and opportunities for feedback regarding upcoming public meeting events, Study schedule, and general TCA Study status updates within the study area.
